Wan Azizah Is The Opposite Of Rosmah
IN an interview with Malaysiakini, Datin Seri Wan Azizah prayed that God forbid for her to ever become like Rosmah. Well, you don’t have to worry, Datin Seri, you are a total opposite of Rosmah.
Datin Seri Wan Azizah is highly regarded for her strength in standing by her husband through thick and thin – through Sungai Buloh and arsenic threat, through DNA and Omega watch, through the court and the video tape. She takes everything as tests from Allah and she has never given up hope to see the throne at the end of the tunnel.
Although materially, she may not be as far different from Rosmah, whereby she has the capacity to travel vastly around the world as and when she likes, Datin Seri Azizah remains humble. Unlike Rosmah, Datin Seri Azizah portrays the true meaning of a ‘woman behind the man’. She may be the President of a political party, but she knows her place when it comes to her husband – that is no. 2. Unlike Rosmah who is often criticized for trying to be no. 1.
Datin Seri Wan Azizah accepts the fact that the party PKR was formed for her husband by her husband, therefore, she has no intention to push him away even when she was criticized for not acting as a true President. Apparently, all party members accept this too and with that, our respect for this extraordinary lady heightened.
More than that, Datin Seri Azizah is also a good mother who brings up her children well. None of her children have any doubts over their father no matter what are being said and reported by the press around the world. She must have taught them to stand up for their man of the house and shut their eyes and ears towards anything negative about him. She told them that family is all that matters and there is no reason for any of them to ever doubt their family members especially their father.
Not many women would have the same courage as Datin Seri Wan Azizah. Most women would start to hesitate and doubt upon being exposed to forensic and scientific evidences on their husband’s misconducts. But Datin Seri Wan Azizah did not even squirm, not a tick in her heart that she ever doubted her husband.
And most mothers would want their children to stand up for the truth even though it might hurt but Datin Seri Wan Azizah taught the children to believe that they are the truth. Nobody can tell them otherwise, not doctors, scientists, police, judge, prosecutors or even a Prime Minister or two Prime Ministers.
It is not an exaggeration to say that Datin Seri Wan Azizah is the pillar of the party, PKR. Without her strength, her belief in her husband, her wisdom in raising her children the party would have fallen apart long time ago. Nobody would believe in Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim if Datin Seri Wan Azizah had chosen to not fight with him. All she needed to do is keep quiet in the first place and everybody would have started to doubt her husband right from the beginning.
This proves that Datin Seri Wan Azizah is no Rosmah Mansor. Rosmah would not have the strength like she does should Najib be forced to step down in the near future. Datin Seri Wan Azizah a truly a gift from God, just as she described her husband. There can never be another woman, another wife and another mother who is as strong and as loyal as she is.
